Visit the most important monuments: Independence Square, Seminario park and the Metropolitan Cathedral; then walk along El Malecon admiring The Moorish Clock Tower, the Rotonda Monument, then continue to the colonial quarter of Las Peñas and finally admire a panoramic view of the city.

GYE 201 BOTANICAL GARDEN VISIT: This is a conservation centre for tropical flora; you will admire an orchid garden with more than 200 different species from Latin America and Asia. There is also a garden for fine wood and exotic fruit trees. Full day - daily

GYE 301 RUTA DEL SOL
Day 1: Drive to Salinas. On the way stop at the baths of San Vicente. Overnight.
Day 2: Excursion to the little community of Valdivia, visit to the Aquarium and the museum. Free time to admire the handicrafts made by the local people. Overnight.
Day 3: Day at leisure or optional excursion to Manglar Alto or Punta Carnero. Overnight.

Day 1: Flight to Manta and transfer to Machalilla Park. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Puerto Lopez.
Day 2: ISLA DE LA PLATA. Excursion to the little island located at 2 hours approx. off the coast. This island is known as the Tiny Galapagos, because of the species found: Blue footed boobies, tropical and frigate birds.
Day 3: LOS FRAILES: Excursion to the beautiful beach Los Frailes and to the pre-Columbian site Agua Blanca
Day 4: Departure to visit the museum of Salango and transfer to Portoviejo for flight back to Quito.
