We'll travel from the Avenue of the Volcanoes to mountain hot springs in Ecuador. This adventure offers up a great combination of must-see highlights and free time to explore on your own.

Day 1.- Arrive Quito  

Day 2.- Departure by Bus to Cotopaxi area. You will start climbing the most beautiful volcano of the Ecuadorian cordillera. You will reach an altitude of 4,420 m (14,500 ft), where the downhill biking will be started. Overnight in a typical Lodge Cotopaxi Aerea.. L/D

Day 3.- Quilotoa Volcano .  Beginning by hiking down the crater of the lake.  Bike ride descending through rough land formations.  Packed lunch and breaks to mix with the local people.  A final descent before relaxing in a comfortable refuge.  B/L/D

Day 04 :Banos:  Route to the little village of Baños, well known for its thermal springs. In the way stop at Salasaca indigenous community. Tour of the city Free day Afternoon . Overnight. B / L

Day 05:Banos : Departure along the Pastaza river canyon to Pailon del Diablo waterfall (possible Bike  Optional rafting or horse back riding excursions. Drive to Riobamba  B / L

Day 06 : RIOBAMBA: Departure to Riobamba,  in the afternoon visit to the Museo de la Concepcion . Free afternoon Overnight. B /L

Day 07 : CUENCA: Transfer to the station for an exciting ride across the famous Devil’s nose. Then drive to Cuenca. Overnight in Cuenca B / L

Day 08: CUENCA: Visit the historical center, the Old and New Cathedrals, the local market, and the visit to a Panama Hut Factory. In the afternoon visit to a museum.  In the afternnon Flight Back Cuenca-Quito  Overnight  Quito. B

Day 9-   Travel by bus to the Amazonian town of Tena, Ricancie Communities /B/L

RICANCIE generates resource-friendly fobs and new sources of income for our village members through activities related to community-based ecotourism. Profits are used for projects in participating RICANCIE communities. A by-product has been the revitalization of cultural traditions and an increase in the self-confidence of the Quichua communities involved. The project also protects our territory and offers an alternative to intensive agricultural practices, which lead inevitably to the continued deforestation of primary rainforest.

Day 10,11.- Ricancie Communities B/L/D

Day 12 After the breathtaking adventures of the past days, we have a relaxing time in Papallacta hot springs. B

Day 13,14.- Visit the most famous Indian Market in Ecuador; the city of Otavalo.  Time to shop for souvenirs and the Ecuadorian handicrafts. Overnight in Otavalo.   B /

Day 15:Sundays: Departure to Quito, or extensions B /
